District 63 Meeting Minutes

Meeting began at 9:13am with Serenity Prayer
Introductions: DR, ADR, Secretary, GR’s – 9; Visitor and Alateen Liaison for a total of 14 in attendance
Readings:
Traditions – Sarah (Al-Anon Alateen Service Manual 2010-2013)
Daily Reader – Elaine (One Day at a Time)
Concept 4 – Michelle (Al-Anon Alateen Service Manual 2010-2013)
7th Tradition: Judy passed the basket - $45 Collected.
Reports:
Secretary: Kim read 10- 16-2010.
Motion to approve minutes as amended put forth by Sarah & Cathy seconded. Unanimous approval.
Treasurer: Joe read report for Judy
Hospitality: Randi/Michelle Passed around list
District Rep: Bob provided four hand-outs
Alternate District Rep: Elaine discussed AFG Conference and shared her program.
Alateen Liaison: Jim explained upcoming SCAC 2011 Event
Intergroup WS Liaison: Not Present
Business
Alateen Workshop Coordination:
Lisa provided a report: $75 for space donation. Joe discussed related finances to event.
Motion to approve $275 for workshop put forth by Lisa & Sarah G seconded. Unanimous approval.
Maybe a special collection for hardcover Alateen books? Lisa suggested use from $225 allocated in previous meeting.
How to collect SCAC Money New Rules:
Provide donations to Jim or Bob for District 63.
Reaching out to meetings without a GR in District 63:
27 meetings/13 active/14 don't have a GR
